The Dive Sites
LUX* Maldives in the South Ari Atoll is famous for its marine diversity and especially for its whale-sharks. Which divers can find here all year round. This luxurious Resort is the ideal base to dive its 50 dive sites, some of the most fabulous and famous dive sites in the world. One of the most famous must be Kuda Rah Thila, the first nationally protected site in the Maldives and Maamigili Outside as whale shark magnet. Most dive sites are from 5 minutes to less than an hour from the Resort. The boat journey makes diving trips even more enjoyable. Divers set out in dhonis, a traditional Maldivian boat, and an experience in itself. We offer here also special excursions like whale sharks safari’s, manta searching, double wreck morning dives and magical discovery full day trips.
